Its been a while

In fact, its been a while is a bit of an understatement. We have seriously neglected this poor little blog.  First Loves Lingerie got its own blog on site and then well Loves was absorbed by its big sister site as part of a major rebranding.  So now there is no loves-lingerie.co.uk.

Hey, don't be sad. Its not bad news. Loves is now part of Essili.com and you will find all your old favourite styles there plus a lot more.

That just leaves us with one problem. What to do with this blog. We may just let it go or we might develop it into a general blog on all things lingerie. So watch this space. We promise not to be so long before we post again this time.

Things are Certainly Changing at Loves Lingerie

If you have not visited the online lingerie boutique, Loves-Lingerie recently then you might be forgiven for thinking you have landed on the wrong web site when you next visit.
An almost total make over has resulted in a fresh new look that is appealing and yet easy to use. There are no side columns any more just a simple top navigation available on every page. So that where ever you are on the site it is easy to find where to go next. The lack of columns gives each page an open and uncluttered feel so that important information stands out. Also gone is the muted grey look which had become very tired and dated looking. Now there is a fresh white base on which to present all the beautiful luxury lingerie and although it might be a personal preference I like this new look much more.
And it is not just a change of look at Loves Lingerie. There have been some new products added recently and you can also see the beginning of great detail being added if you visit the Diki Lingerie section in the "Our Designers" category. You can of course browse the very many styles offered by this designer at your leisure, but if you prefer some guidance then all you need do is scroll down the page to below the product images and there you will find a summary list of all the major designs that are offered in that section. Each design is listed in alphabetical order by the collection name and then a brief line or two is provided to tell you the colour or colours on offer plus the types of garment included in the collection. As far as I know, there is nothing like this on any other lingerie site and it shows that Loves is working hard to focus on customer needs.
There are a few remnants of the old design, for instance the delivery information pop up on the product page is still in the old grey style, but returns information has been updated and has the new web style, so it is a work in progress.

Loves Lingerie is the second website in the "family" of sites owned by Crysalis Ltd and as such has always suffered from being the little sister site. This has lead to Loves having difficulties searching for its own identity as well as a share of the time and effort put into promoting its big sister!

At last it seems that Loves has found its identity - with a core of designer products it now also offers lovely every day lingerie from quality European brands plus luxury nightwear and swimwear and beautiful bridal underwear.  One of the most recent product additions has been the Bliss bridal set.
This beautiful set is from the brand Gracya and features a stunning plunge bra with lavish lace and a matching suspender thong.

A New Direction for Loves Lingerie

We've spent a lot of time soul searching this year.  Loves-Lingerie has a big sister, a site that is better known and with a massive line up of product. Almost every type of lingerie you could imagine from designer to affordable sexy and chic is available. You name it and Ever-so-Sexy.com has it!

So is it any wonder that little Loves-Lingerie was feeling just a little lost and neglected, wondering how to get out from under the shadow of its big sister. It was never intended to be a clone of its sister site but exactly what it should be has been difficult to decide. Hence the soul searching.

Now we think we have it!  A site for everyone who loves pretty, romantic or just practical underwear no matter their size.  You might be a tiny petite girl or a voluptuous and well rounded woman but you will find something to interest you at the new Loves-Lingerie.

Starting this week two brands that offer bras in small and big sizes have appeared on site.  Both European brands, they are Gorteks and Konrad. Konrad is big and beautiful, offering bras in red, blue, green and even yellow. Gorteks is pretty and chic and offers bras from petite 30B to voluptuous 44F cup. This is just the beginning of the revolution at Loves-Lingerie so watch out for more in the coming months.

Sonata Lingerie have released their new collection for spring/summer 2012 under the name Belle Epoque.

There are seven designs within the collection,  Adelle, Danae, Tiffany, Lalia, Opaline, Rosa and Ravenna.

At Loves-Lingerie you can already order some of the new styles.  One of the first to be available is the Rosa soft bra and g string. Both are made of luscious wine red floral race and trimmed with real silk satin.  You can buy the items separately or order them together for a complete set.

Each garment is hand made to order so despatch of your order can be up to 21 days.
